CEC-REN wrapped up an incredible two-day visit to Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School (REGI) in Kingston and remains energized by the experience. This was our second annual visit, and once again, the REGI team and lead teachers created a welcoming, engaging learning environment over the four sessions.

CEC-REN ran an interactive DIY filtration activity alongside an in-depth presentation on water contamination, and the students' curiosity, insight, and thoughtful questions were truly inspiring. It’s amazing to see young minds thinking critically about water, sustainability, and their role as future environmental stewards.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who joined us (
Meghan Boyd and Mouna Harb)—your enthusiasm and support made the activities come alive. And a special shoutout to Rachel Korchinsky and Prama Roy for organizing the visit so seamlessly.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s visit. Moments like these remind us why outreach matters and how impactful hands-on science can be.
