The house at 80 Barrie Street was officially named Abramsky House during a ceremony on September 21, 2011, in recognition of the Abramsky family's ongoing commitment to medical education at Queen's.
The Abramsky family, well known in Kingston for their philanthropy and community support, donated $500,000 to support the new home for the Queen's School of Medicine.
Abramsky House, fully renovated and attached to the new School of Medicine Building, now serves as the new administrative offices for undergraduate medical studies.
