The Department of French Studies at Queen’s University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates interested in teaching a course in Communication et culture II (FREN 107/3.0). This is an online, first year course with an expected enrolment of 350 students. Candidates should be fluent in both French and English, have a Ph.D in French Studies and teaching experience at the University level, preferably in French Studies.
Course Description:
FREN 107/3.0 Communication et culture II
This online French course is designed for students with a basic knowledge of French, to supplement their language skills by enabling them to engage in everyday interactions. For students with three years of high school French or equivalent.
The fall term appointment is for the period of September 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, with classes in session from September 7, 2021 to December 3, 2021.
The winter term appointment is from January 1, 2022, to April 30, 2022, with classes in session from January 10, 2022, to April 8, 2022.
