Miller Museum of Geology

Welcome to the Miller Museum of Geology

The Miller Museum of Geology at Queen's University is an active resource for people interested in geology, the study of the Earth.  Come in to marvel at the beautiful minerals and crystals from around the world in the extensive display gallery, dig for dinosaur fossils, and play in our amazing new Augmented Reality Sandbox!

The Miller Museum has reopened! Hours are 9am-4pm year round on weekdays only (except Statutory Holidays) for self-guided tours of the mineral and fossil exhibit galleries.

Please note: the wearing of medical-grade masks that cover the mouth and nose is currently required for all people entering Queen's University buildings including the Miller Museum.

Also available is a variety of instructor-led educational programs presented in the Dr Richard Milne Geo-science Education Classroom.  These programs must be pre-booked (minimum of one week in advance) and are intended for school groups, summer camp groups, and any other group of 10-30 people interested in learning more about geology in the museum classroom.
