Research Data Centres are Statistics Canada premises and must be compliant with the Government of Canada’s policies and directives.

We are all responsible for preventing the spread of COVID-19. The most important action you can take is to not enter the RDC when you have symptoms of COVID-19 or an infectious respiratory illness. Researchers and staff are not permitted in the RDC with symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or fever.

If you have symptoms, you must wait until you are free of symptoms before entering the RDC. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or cold/flu, you must not enter the RDC even if you:

  • Test negative for COVID-19
  • Wear a mask and physically distance from others
