The QRDC is a member of the Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN).
Its mission is to provide researchers access to confidential microdata files. Access requires a an project approved by Statistics Canada. Information on how to apply and access data is available from their Accessing RDC Data page.
Since opening in August 2005 over 170 faculty members, graduate students and researchers have used to produce presentations, theses, refereed articles, book chapters, and working papers.
The QRDC is managed by Queen's University Library, in collaboration with Queen's University Research Services and Information Technology Services.
