Sep 04, 2026

Assistant Professor Eugene Lang recently wrote an article on The Globe and Mail relating to defence procurement and Ottawa bureaucracy. Specifically relating to Doug Guzman, CEO of the federal government's new Defence Investment Agency, and his departure less than a year into the job.

"So thick is Ottawa bureaucracy, even Carney’s hand-picked defence man has had enough", The Globe and Mail, September 4, 2026.
