Dr. Robert Wolfe, Professor Emeritus and Distinguished Fellow in the School of Policy Studies, recently published a blog post on the Trade β Blog.
In "Why a stronger WTO is needed for a stable and prosperous world order," Wolfe argues that "if the WTO is allowed to fade away, and world trade fragments into multiple small agreements, uncertainty and costs will rise for everyone."
This blog is adapted from a presentation to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Canadian House of Commons.
