Warren Mabee, Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning and former Director of the School of Policy Studies, argues that "the problematic introduction of electric ferries in the Kingston area could offer lessons to the agency developing the high-speed rail project" in a recent article in the Kingston Whig-Standard.
