On March 21st, 2026, the 10th Annual Queen’s Sustainability Conference (QSUS) was held at the University Club on Queen’s campus.
QSUS is a student-run event organized by undergraduate students from a variety of faculties across Queen’s; these students share deep concerns about sustainability and have the goal of growing the sustainability movement at the university.
This year’s meeting focused on the current challenges associated with sustainability and policy development, and addressed some of the rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape of the world.
The keynote speech at this year’s event was given by Stéphane Dion, former Ambassador to France and Monaco, former Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Liberal Party, and past Minister of various portfolios including Environment.
Queen’s is grateful to Mr. Dion for his participation in this event.
