Theme: “The The Crisis in the Humanities: Reconsidering the Studies of the Humanities in the Age of Technology and Innovation”

February 16-25, 2018

J.F. Oberlin University, Tokyo, Japan

Senior undergraduate student representatives from member institutions in both Japan and Canada will meet and exchange opinions and ideas about a common topic of interest to students today. This opportunity is made possible by Queen’s membership in the JACAC. Queen’s University may put forward one nomination. The goal of this forum is to provide students with the opportunity to interact with their peers from a different culture, in order to gain insight into their current areas of academic interest and to encourage a flow of ideas between Canada and Japan. The official language of the forum is English. Transportation and accommodation expenses are covered.

Details on the Forum, application, and the specifics of the expenses covered for successful applicants may be found at the following link: http://www.jacac.com/what-we-do/2018-jacac-student-forum-info/
