The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures offers 11 of the 14 languages offered at Queen's.
Linguistics is the study of language and its structure, including the study of morphology, syntax, phonetics, phonology and semantics.
The study of foreign literatures introduces students to the most important cultures of the modern world; cultures that have produced, and continue to produce, writers, artists, scientists, and thinkers who have collectively influenced the way we experience the world.
