The Department of Philosophy at Queen's University has long been committed to combining active scholarly research with first-rate teaching. Faculty work in a wide variety of fields, including political philosophy, ethics, bioethics, feminism, contemporary metaphysics and epistemology, philosophy of language, philosophy of science and the history of philosophy. Courses are regularly taught in all these areas, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
