Join us for this insightful 60-minute presentation by Peggy Baumgartner on the importance of developing self-awareness as a leader. Self-awareness is a precondition to high performance and leveraging diversity. People who know and manage themselves stay focused under pressure, find satisfaction, joy and energy in their work and personal life.

During her presentation Peggy will explore what self-awareness looks like for leaders while highlighting practical tools toward deepening awareness.

About the presenter

Peggy Baumgartner is dedicated to training excellence. Her background includes a decade at IBM where she held numerous roles including managing their leadership curriculum, followed by 25 years of corporate training experience with Third Factor where she is currently their Chief Learning Officer.

Peggy has delivered hundreds of programs to Fortune 500 organizations across numerous industries and countries including: Canada, the United States, Chile, China, Rwanda, and the Caribbean. She is most proud of the deep commitment to learning which she inspires in those she coaches.

As an advanced-level certified TAIS coach, Peggy drove the development of Third Factor’s Self-Aware Leader program, which is a core component of the flagship week-long Leadership program at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. Peggy also works to prepare Olympic athletes for competition and is a key player in Third Factor’s work with Right To Play, where she led the adaptation of the Coaching for High Performance program to meet the needs of 15,000 volunteer coaches, and traveled to Rwanda to lead the roll out.
