Partnerships with Aboriginal organizations and universities are integral to this research project. It is with the help of Aboriginal organizations and communities and university communities that we have designed, and continue to design, the survey instrument (test and questionnaire). Even after we begin the survey, it will be necessary to add the regional portions of the instrument with the help of Aboriginal people and groups across Canada and to constantly monitor the instrument's quality and relevance to changing circumstances.
