Connecting with our local community is essential to our mission as a charitable institution and central to the Bader College vision. We take pride in building a vibrant, global community and in fostering a mutually supportive relationship with our local area. This commitment is further realized through our support of charities, including participation in events such as the National Garden's Scheme.

Community links
We partner with other organizations that help to strengthen communities and serve our neighbours. There is also a growing community of volunteers at the Castle Estate, working in our gardens and grounds, on exhibitions, and helping at the Observatory Science Centre during stargazing events. A project to rewild the majority of the estate, with more information coming soon, will see further recruitment to this team of volunteers.
