EGSS Events

The EGSS organizes and hosts a variety of academic and social events on behalf of its members. All Faculty of Education graduate students are welcome to attend these events. Social Events

EGSS hosts a variety of social events open to all education graduate students and faculty. Past social events include paint night, ice skating, faculty-student debates, and more!

Writing Café

EGSS and Student Academic Success Services (SASS) host the bi-weekly Graduate Writing Café where education graduate students can work together on academic writing, editing and idea formation.

RBJSE

The Rosa Bruno-Jofré Symposium in Education (RBJSE) is an annual gathering organized for and by graduate students in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University. It features educators and graduate student presenters from across Canada.

Graduate Mentorship Program

The Faculty of Education Mentorship Program connects incoming graduate students with upper-year graduate students to provide professional and personal growth for both mentors and mentees, support the transition of incoming graduate students, and facilitate growth opportunities for graduate students.
