Education

François-Daniel is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Education, Queen’s University. His research is focused on French as a Second Language, and more specifically at the intersection of identity and teaching French Immersion. His research interests include research-practice partnerships, program evaluation, Community-Based Participatory Research, Community-Based Evaluation, second language learning, and language & identity. As an OCT certified educator, François-Daniel has taught for five years in both elementary and secondary panels, in public and Catholic school boards in Ontario. He will be leveraging his experience in a variety of representative roles he has held to represent the voices of Education graduate students on behalf of the EGSS with the SGPS.
