Biography
Denbeigh Whitmarsh is a PhD student in the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing at Queen’s University. Her research focuses on the ecocritical semiotics of land in relation to Indigenous, Diasporic, and Canadian oral literatures. She holds an MPhil in English Literature from Queen’s University, a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from the Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand), and a B.A.H. in French Literature from McGill University. She has professional experience as a writer, translator, and editor in English and French. She loves swimming, running, and climbing trees.
