Proactive Management of Atrophic Vaginitis and Dyspareunia

Presented by: Marisa Horniachek, MD, FRCSC, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Queen's University

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Screen for common sexual concerns in the perimenopausal period
  2. Understand the differences between various treatment options for genitourinary syndrome of menopause
  3. Recommend non-hormonal treatment options for GSM in patient s with contraindications to estrogen
