This Is ACSA: A Legacy Showcase
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
It is with pleasure that the African and Caribbean Students’ Association (ACSA) invites you to our end of year celebration – This Is ACSA: A Legacy Showcase, which will be taking place on Friday March 29 at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre from 7-9 pm. Please note that the event will be held in the Atrium and doors will open at 6:30 pm.
This event will be attended by students, staff, faculty, administration and community members. We are excited to foster an environment in which we can celebrate the Legacy that is ACSA, and the critical work we have been doing as a community over the past 40 years. The evening will be filled with speeches, performances, a special reveal of our Legacy Project and of course the opportunity to network. We are also incredibly excited to be welcoming back ACSA Alumni, to showcase the importance of representation and visibility on campus and life after Queen’s.
We invite you to join us for an elegant night combined with the celebratory culture of ACSA, which of course includes some authentic Caribbean food and music. We will also have access to the Art Gallery, in which we wish to draw special attention to the Art of African Ivory and Soundings Exhibit.
The event is free and that the dress code is semi-formal. This is a family-friendly event so all are welcomed!
