An Afternoon of Dermatology

Description:

The Division of Dermatology invites you to join them at the Residence Inn by Marriott Kingston Water’s Edge for An Afternoon of Dermatology where they will discuss such topics as biopsies, oral dermatology, therapies for psoriasis and eczema, & allergic contact dermatitis. Make sure you stick around for the popular "Quick Hits" & Q&A with the dermatologists!

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
1.    Discuss high-frequency dermatological conditions with patients & colleagues
       (Communicator/Collaborator)
2.    Integrate emergent & established high-impact practices for treating dermatological
       conditions into your practice (Medical Expert/Scholar)
3.    Perform effective examinations & procedures in your primary care practice when treating
       dermatology patients (Advocate/Medical Expert)

Please note that back-up session recordings will be available for learners who are unable to attend an in-person program due to health or emergency issues.

Credits:
This Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Queen’s University for up to 3.5 Mainpro+ credits. This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is approved by the Office of Continuing Professional Development, Queen’s University. You may claim a maximum of 3.5 hours.
