Maeve Palmer and Joy Lee will be performing works by Luigi Nono, Kaija Saaiaho, György Ligeti and Canadian composers Jacques Hétu, Phillippe Leroux and Nicole Lizée AND ITS FREE. The Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition is the most important annually held contemporary music competition for exceptional emerging Canadian performing artists rotating every year between piano, voice and strings. E-Gré Competition & Winner’s Tour have played a significant role in the early careers of performers recognized nationally and internationally for the achievements in music including Jon Kimura Parker, Ben Heppner and James Ehnes.
