Forest Therapy - SGPS
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Find on Campus Map
November 4-8 is THRIVE Week at Queen’s, a week dedicated to mental health on campus. Inspired by this initiative, the SGPS is offering a significantly reduced rate for graduate and professional students who would like to experience Forest Therapy, which is inspired by the Japanese practice of “Shinrin-Yoku,” or “forest bathing.” Forest Therapy seeks to renew our relationship with nature for the benefit of the environment. We are fortunate to have Stana Luxford-Oddie from the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority to lead us on this therapeutic walk through Lake Ontario Park.
