Instructors play a key role in fostering accessible teaching and learning spaces, as well as providing academic accommodations and consideration to students. In the first half of the session, we will explore the difference between accessibility, academic accommodations, and academic considerations, and how instructors can best support students. We will also talk about roles and responsibilities of instructors & students, accommodation procedures, as well as strategies for implementing Universal Design for Learning. The second half of the session will be dedicated to Q&As.
