Dr. Davison was recently appointed Associate Dean, Equity and Social Accountability, and is responsible for the development and implementation of activities and initiatives to promote equity, diversity, inclusivity, accessibility, social accountability, and cultural safety in QHS. In this role, Dr. Davison will co-lead the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, along with the Associate Dean, Indigenous Health and Reconciliation, who will be recruited in 2022.
Dr. Davison joined Queen’s University in 2011 and currently serves as Associate Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences with a cross appointment to the Department of Global Development Studies. She is a respected researcher and teacher with local and global partnerships. She has published 112 peer-reviewed papers, and her research focused on child and family health, health equity, equity-oriented research methodologies and community engagement has received nearly $9M in funding.
