Profile

Shak Parran is a partner in Deloitte’s Omnia AI, where he is the leader of ER&I. He brings over 20 years of experience in practical operational analytics for asset heavy industries to mining clients, such as Vale and Teck Resources, and oil and gas clients, such as Suncor and TransCanada. Prior to this role, Shak led the data science group at Deloitte. 

Shak is recognized as the firm’s leading expert in delivering predictive analytics, process optimization, operations excellence, predictive maintenance and artificial intelligence projects across various industries including mining, transportation, oil and gas, forestry, utilities, and manufacturing.

A regular speaker at mining and metals industry events and PDAC, Shak is also the author of numerous articles on AI in mining and ER&I at large.
