As usual, there are lots of connections to Queen’s at KCFF this year, including feature films by alumni like Suzanne Crocker, Ryan Noth and Matthew Bissonnette.
The KCFF short film program boasts over ten films created by Queen’s students and alum, and the popular Breaking In career event features Queen’s alum panelists who work on shows like Letterkenney, Big Brother Canada, and CBC.
In 2001, KCFF was founded by a Queen’s film student (Alex Jansen) and is now directed by Queen’s History grad Marc Garniss.
KCFF continues to work closely with the Queen’s Film Department and employs many students through internships and paid work-study.
