Description:

The 2021 Kingston Canadian Film Festival goes fully digital for the first time in twenty-one years, February 26-March 7. Enjoy the best Canadian films of the year from the comfort of home, plus livestream Q&A’s with directors, cast and crew after each screening. All films are available across Ontario and most are available nationally and internationally. For tickets and more information, visit kingcanfilmfest.com

As usual, there are lots of connections to Queen’s at KCFF this year, including feature films by alumni like Suzanne Crocker, Ryan Noth and Matthew Bissonnette.

The KCFF short film program boasts over ten films created by Queen’s students and alum, and the popular Breaking In career event features Queen’s alum panelists who work on shows like Letterkenney, Big Brother Canada, and CBC.

In 2001, KCFF was founded by a Queen’s film student (Alex Jansen) and is now directed by Queen’s History grad Marc Garniss.

KCFF continues to work closely with the Queen’s Film Department and employs many students through internships and paid work-study.
