A preannouncement for a new competition under the New Frontiers of Research Fund (NFRF) International funding stream has launched with a call for proposals for Research in Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation. Official launch expected in January 2023.  

In preparation for this call, we are inviting interested researchers to join us for a networking and brainstorming session on December 9 (10 am-Noon). The Vice Principal Research Portfolio is committed to the development and implementation of projects under this call and encourages any and all researchers tackling climate change related questions to participate in the conversation.

The goal of the session will be:

1. to flesh out details on the NFRF International call, 
2. provide information regarding the central administrative and financial supports available to enhance applications, and 
3. enable opportunities for the research community to socialize research ideas with peers and build strong interdisciplinary teams.
