[ONLINE] Creating a Record Keeping Protocol
10:30 AM – 11:15 AM
Find on Campus Map
A record keeping protocol is a way to document any and all records related processes in your office. By creating a record keeping protocol you provide evidence of how and when you decided to start managing your records in a certain way.
Document what to do with physical mail, imaging requirements for scanned documents, what your standard naming conventions for files are, where documents should be stored (physically or digitally); any process your office follows now, or wants to start doing can be captured in a record keeping protocol so that everyone can work from the same point of reference.
