When:
Thursday, January 14, 2021
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where:
Description:

Our Humanities programs in Art History, Classics, English Language and Literature, History, Jewish Studies, and Philosophy will develop your capacity to think clearly and critically, and will provide the opportunity to use your imagination and creativity. You can examine the formations of language itself, or pursue a program in modern language acquisition, and cultural studies in French Studies or our many Language and Literature programs. If you are intrigued by the interactions of human beings,  consider a program in the Social Sciences such as Economics, Environmental Studies, Gender Studies, Geography, Global Development Studies, Kinesiology & Health Studies, Employment Relations, Political Studies, Psychology, and Sociology. Many of these programs are interdisciplinary, crossing boundaries and combining two or more areas of study. Find out more about the many options for studying humanities and social sciences at Queen’s! Hear from faculty members about whether you should apply to the common first year to explore your options and try new courses, apply directly to our Kinesiology and Health Studies program, or just take a few cool humanities and social sciences courses as electives. Then learn more about what it is like to study humanities and social sciences from some of our current students. We know that it’s important for you to find the right fit and that, whatever way you decide to study humanities and social sciences at Queen’s, it will be a great experience!
