Access to good, healthy food is not as easy as you might think for millions of Canadians. Surprisingly, it is not getting any easier. As a result, the food justice movement has grown significantly over the past 10 years in Canada, as well as around the world. Food justice organizations work to advance food security and food sovereignty through three interlocking goals: zero hunger, healthy and safe food, and sustainable food systems.

In this boot camp you will learn about the food justice movement, the issues, and how a leader in the Ontario food justice space, FoodShare, works to improve access to good food for marginalized and remote communities in Ontario.

This is an opportunity to network, have fun, and help create solutions that can generate real world positive social impact in the short term. This is not a drill!
