Queen's School of Computing is hosting a visiting professor from Óbuda University in Hungary, from August 17 to August 23.

The visitor is Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector, and Director of the Physiological Controls Research Center at Óbuda University. Prof. Kovács' research interest is in the areas of modern control theory and physiological regulation.

On August 18 at 14:00 Prof. Kovács will delivery an online research seminar on "Advanced biomedical engineering at Óbuda" .

This visit is part of a 15-year long collaboration between the School of Computing and Óbuda University. During the visit, an Inter-institutional Agreement between Queen's and Óbuda University will be signed to broaden bilateral institutional collaboration. The Office of Vice-Principal (International) is arranging the signing ceremony.
