(VIRTUAL) Speak on It: Navigating Racialization in Childhood

When:
Thursday, May 6, 2021
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Where:
Description:

Attend the next instalment of the ‘Speak on It’ series! We have Sofia, Fatin and Taylor who will share their work with Roots and Wings, Kingston where “through educational workshops, racialized girls between 8 and 12 are encouraged to explore their diverse identities and are taught about social justice issues in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.”

All are welcome! So join us as we explore themes of racialization, social justice and look at some of the ways that creating space for racialized youth to learn about themselves and social justice together enriches and opens up understandings and experiences around racialization in childhood.
