A new version of the Queen's Events Calendar will launch Wednesday, August 26. All events dated September 1, 2024 and later will be migrated. As part of this process, additions to the current calendar will be suspended at 3:00 p.m. on August 25.

Description:

Queen's Reads presents: "What does it mean to be Canadian? Exploring Identity in light of Canada 150". This is a panel discussion from distinguished student, staff and faculty from Queen's. This panel will work to share diverse perspectives on what it means to be a Canadian, to discuss intersectionality in relation to identity, and to investigate why Canada 150 celebrations are problematic and how we can work together to better incorporate reconciliation into our daily lives. If you haven't pick up your free copy of The Break you will be able to get a copy at this event. Doors open at 6:30 pm with a small activity about identity and light refreshments.
