Description:

A panel discussing ‘Wireless Innovations: Effects on Human Health’ and featuring Professor Emeritus Anthony Miller from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and Professor Emeritus Martin Pall from the Department of Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences at Washington State University. The IEEE Kingston Section is co-sponsoring this panel discussion along with the Queen’s University Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. This panel is open to the public, and will include a question-and-answer period.

This panel discussion is intended to bring about awareness of the potential impacts of wireless technology on human health.  Students in schools are routinely exposed to high levels of electromagnetic radiation in the classroom, and with the introduction of 5G networks in our community we will all be exposed to increased levels of electromagnetic radiation in our homes and at work. Information about the medical and ecological impacts of exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic radiation is limited, but what research there is provides reason to be concerned. The panelist are internationally renowned experts in this field.

This discussion is one that you will not want to miss.
