Join Queen’s Energy Specialist Dave Gerrish as he breaks down:
- Queen’s carbon footprint
- What really makes a difference at home (spoiler: not your charger)
- Honest reflections on climate anxiety and hope
Let’s talk about real solutions and how to feel better doing it.
Join us for an engaging one-hour session with Queen's Energy Specialist, Dave Gerrish, as part of Thrive 365's Environmental Wellness Month.
Dave will unpack the facts about Queen's carbon footprint and the actions being taken to reduce it under the university's Climate Action Plan.
Drawing on insights from more than 400 home energy audits, Dave will also share what truly makes a difference when it comes to energy use at home (hint: it's not your phone charger).
The session wraps up with a personal reflection on climate anxiety from someone who works in climate action every day and manages to stay optimistic.
Whether you're curious about what Queen's is doing, what you can do at home, or how to emotionally navigate the climate crisis, this session offers honest and practical insights.
