As we mark Pride Month in June and Pride Season throughout the summer, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities at Queen’s and around the world. Pride is both a celebration and a reminder that the work toward equality, safety, and inclusion continues despite ongoing discrimination and hate.
We invite you to join us for the Pride Flag Raising Ceremony on June 1 at 10 a.m. at the Douglas Library flagpole (corner of Union Street and University Avenue).
This event is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and contributions of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, reflect on the progress made, and reaffirm our shared commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect for all.
We encourage all members of the Queen’s community to attend.
