Are you a teaching fellow or an instructor new to Queen’s who will be teaching in Fall 2026 or Winter 2027 semester? Come join us in this two-day workshop designed to prepare you for the upcoming teaching journey! In this hands-on, practical workshop, you will:
- Explore and apply essential course design principles to align your course with your teaching goals.
- Discover accessible, authentic assessment and envision how they can come to life in your classroom.
- Examine evidence-based pedagogies and learning strategies that support student engagement and success.
- Connect with colleagues across disciplines, share insights, and learn from each other’s experiences.
By the end of the institute, you will leave with a plan for a syllabus grounded in course design foundations and shaped through an educational equity lens.
