Description:
Presented by Stephanie Simpson, Director, Human Rights Office; will provide an overview of issues related to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and disability difference and how these might impact student experience(s).
Attendees will:
- Talk about own identity & how it’s interpreted at Queen’s and in Canada
- Learn from peers about navigating identity & difficult situations
- Receive tips & resources to navigate instances of discrimination & difficult situations
