The Achieving Safety and Respect in the Workplace course was designed by the Human Rights and Equity Office to serve as a primer for staff and faculty on the Human Rights and Occupational Health & Safety obligations at Queen’s University.

This course consists of four modules that include two interactive quizzes and information on resources available to you at Queen’s and in the Kingston community.

The estimated time of completion is 30 minutes. After finishing the fourth module, you will return here to complete the training and receive a confirmation email.

Achieving Safety and Respect in the Workplace Online Training sections:

  • Why is this important?
  • The Ontario Human Rights Code
  • The Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Workplace Harassment and Violence

Thank you for your cooperation with the University's efforts in improving the inclusivity of our campus. To fulfill its reporting obligations, the University will track all community members who complete training.

Note: Ensure you have 10–minutes of uninterrupted time to complete this module.  Completing the module in less than 10-minutes will result in an INVALID error.  The module will eventually time–out due to inactivity. Refreshing the page after time–out will cause previous progress on the module to be lost and you will need to complete the module again.

Thank you
