Resource Guide for Racialized Employees

An online webpage compilation of resources and information relevant to racialized staff/faculty, particularly around inclusion, finding belonging, community and supports helpful to thriving in the Kingston/Queen’s environment.  

This guide was created as part of Queen’s wider employment equity initiatives and institutional goals to foster wellbeing across diverse employee groups.

Queen’s “Nooners” informal Afternoon lunch time recreational soccer group
Open to staff, faculty and students. Visit Tindall Field most weekdays between noon and 1:30pm.

Black Community Swimming and Swimming Lessons
Open to Staff/Faculty/Students. Register at Black at Queen's Programming.

Kingston Sport and Social Club “Recess for Adults”
Recreational and Competitive adult sports league; soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton and more! (runs throughout the year).  

Breakwater Park run 
A weekly jogging community that meets at the beautiful breakwater park near Queen’s University campus.  

Kingston Live Music
