An adapted 30-minute interactive eCourse from the Ontario Human Rights Commission that provides the foundation to learn about race, racial discrimination and human rights protections under the Ontario Human Rights Code.

The course provides a historical overview of racism and racial discrimination, explains what "race," "racism" and "racial discrimination" mean, and offers approaches to combatting racial discrimination.

Thank you for your cooperation with the University's efforts in improving our inclusive campus. To fulfill its reporting obligations, the University will track all community members who complete training.

 

Note: Ensure you have 30–minutes of uninterrupted time to complete this module.  Completing the module in less than 30-minutes will result in an INVALID error.  The module will eventually time–out due to inactivity. Refreshing the page after time–out will cause previous progress on the module to be lost and you will need to complete the module again.
