Arts and Science Students

Welcome to Arts & Science Orientation!

Congratulations and welcome to Queen's University!

At the Arts and Science undergraduate society (ASUS), we are committed to creating a positive, open and comfortable O-Week wherein each incoming student can feel welcomed in the Queen's community. By participating in Queen's traditions and creating spirit and pride initiatives, we introduce first-year students to the Queen's community and the great City of Kingston. Most importantly, these events are intended to give students smiles on their faces, loads of fun, and an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to welcome you to your new home!

We hope that some of your fondest memories will be from this time, filled with laughter, spirit, and meaningful bonds. Upon registering for Fall Orientation, you will be placed in an Orientation Group with 15 to 20 students who will have the same or a similar projected major as you. Led by 2 Orientation Leaders called Gaels, your Group will participate in a variety of exciting events throughout the Orientation period. Together your group will experience exciting Carnivals, Coverall painting, and Queen’s Traditions that all work towards the ArtSci Cuper! Orientation can help create that once-in-a-lifetime bond that helps you feel more comfortable in the new chapter of your life.

Registration is now open: Orientation Packages

ASUS Orientation Registration will cover the events, and the Coveralls are an optional addition. Please note, that coveralls can be purchased with or without registration.

Once you have completed registration please submit this form: ASUS Participant Details
This is to provide the planning committee with necessary information about your academic program for grouping.

There will be information about available financial aid when registration information is released.
