Pranab Das

Pranab holds a PhD in Environmental and Life Sciences (Trent University) and a Professional Master of Public Administration (Queen’s University), and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). With over 13 years of experience overseeing Genome Canada funded Large-Scale Applied Research Projects in Queen’s Chemical Engineering and Biology departments, he joined the Department of Physics as NUCLEUS Program and Operations Manager. He manages day-to-day operations of the NUCLEUS CREATE program, a national photonics training network, including trainee onboarding, committees, events, mentorship and internship coordination, budgets, funder reporting, grant development, and academic and industry partnerships. Outside of work, he enjoys badminton, tennis, and soccer.
