Welcome!

Star and planet formation is an exciting and growing research field.  Prof Sarah Sadavoy and her research team uses telescope observations to study:

  • the physics of giant star-forming regions
  • how young stars obtain their mass
  • the formation and evolution of planet-forming disks
  • the growth of tiny grains of dust into full-sized planets
