Second Degrees

The Faculty of Arts and Science welcomes external applicants to the Second Degree for a summer and fall term start (Queen’s students may be considered for a winter term start in addition to summer and fall term). 
Students may apply for a 3-year degree (BA, BCMP, BSc) or a 4-year Honours Degree (BAH, BCMPH, BScH). 

For some degree plans, Queen’s students may apply with lower Cumulative GPA requirements. Please contact Arts and Science if you are a Queen’s student and wish to inquire about requirements.

Cumulative 2.6 GPA; applicants must have 6.0 units of first-year, university-level Biology equivalent to BIOL 102 AND 103, with a mark of C- in 103.  

If the student takes BIOL 102 AND 103 at Queen's (summer admission), they must pass 102 & earn a Queen's C- in BIOL 103.

Cumulative 2.6 GPA;  applicants must have 6.0 units of first-year, university-level MATH equivalent to MATH 120/121/123 & 124 with a mark of Queen's C AND 6.0 units of first-year, university-level Biology equivalent university-level BIOL courses equivalent to BIOL 102 AND 103 with a mark of Queen's C in 103.  

If the student takes BIOL 102 AND 103 at Queen's, (summer admission) they must pass 102 AND have a C in 103. If take MATH at Queen's (i.e,. summer admission) they must pass the course.
