Angela is a Masters student in the Rehabilitation Science Program at Queen’s University ( RHBS MSc). She  graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Sociology from the University of Toronto. She then went on to obtain her degree in Occupational Therapy from the School of Rehabilitation Medicine from Queen’s University. She has spent the last 20 years of practice working in paediatrics at the Scarborough Health Network and Sinai Health, with a focus on developmental care for infants in the NICU and, post-charge, through outpatient programs including the Neonatal Follow-up Clinic.She has received certifications in the General Movements Assessment, Neonatal Touch and Massage, and she is an active member the National Association of Neonatal Therapists. Angela is the mother of 4 children. She loves dogs and the outdoors including hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing.

My name is Sara Hayat Sarkandi, and I am currently a Master's student in the Rehabilitation Science Program (RHBS MSc) at Queen's University. I have a background as an Occupational Therapist at Rasool Akram Hospital in Tehran, where I specialized in working with patients of all ages, with a particular focus on children and infants with physical disabilities. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano and am actively learning new languages, with a current emphasis on French.

Lorrain Smith is a research associate and is involved creation of a novel virtual infant development assessment and is the developmental examiner on various research project. She is also a registered Occupational Therapist at KidsIclusive, the Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic, as well as Feeding Clinic. She loves working in paediatrics. She also enjoy gardening, exercising with friends and a good sense of humour.

Amir is an undergrad student in the BHSc Program at Queen's University. Outside of work and school, he enjoys indulging in his passion for landscape and architectural photography.

As a member of the I.N.F.A.N.T. LAB team, Amir designed the research lab's website, keeps the lab's website up-to-date and manages important data. He's always ready to help with various research tasks for the project.

Anisia is completing her Master's of Science degree in the Rehabilitation Science program. She is interested in developing and testing a novel intervention to help lower parental stress and improve parent-infant bonding in the neonatal intensive care unit. She has always loved to dance, and previously worked as a dance instructor during her undergraduate degree.

My name is Nithikaa Shashikanth. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program in Rehabilitation Sciences. My thesis focuses on investigating the impact of a parent-administered sensorimotor intervention in the NICU on the developmental outcomes of preterm infants by the time they reach preschool age. In my free time, I enjoy dancing and drawing as hobbies.

My name is Stephanie Nagy, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Queen's in 2021 and am now in medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Fucile on two published projects. I am currently assisting on a project identifying the community support service needs of mothers of substance-exposed infants. For fun, I enjoy going to the beach and going swimming.

Lauren is a Doctorate student in Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership (Dsc. RHL) program at Queens University. Lauren is an Occupational Therapist in Vancouver BC working with children with pediatric feeding and swallowing challenges at BC Childrens Hospital as well as within her own private practice. Her research will look at a novel virtual intervention for parents and caregivers for children with pediatric feeding disorders. Lauren has four children and recently fell in love with playing tennis and pickleball (could not resist the trend!).

Shannon is a Doctoral Candidate in the Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership (DSc RHL) program at Queen’s University. She is a Registered Occupational Therapist in Ontario and holds a Master of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Minor in Psychology. Shannon has worked as an Occupational Therapist since 2014, primarily with a pediatric population. Her applied dissertation is focused on Assistive Technology and Occupational Therapy, focused on therapists' experiences related to their university curriculum and clinical experience with school-age children who require AT assessment and intervention.

Shannon is an avid triathlete and competed last year at the World Triathlon Championships 2022 with her 3-month-old infant cheering from the sidelines (...he actually slept through most of her race).
