Join our Equity Ambassadors as they assist students in navigating a post-secondary education. Through reviewing several services and supports available to an undergraduate student, we invite you to think critically about the concept of success in post-secondary, what it means, and how to achieve it.

Effective time management can have a crucial effect on your academic work and ability to balance priorities; but it is a difficult skill to master! Our Equity Ambassadors discuss the effects poor time management can have and ways to take back control of your time.

Beyond academics, students should get involved with campus activities, including clubs, volunteering, sports, and work. Participants will learn about the variety of available opportunities, where to find them, how to access/apply for them, and hear from Equity Ambassadors about their own experiences with getting involved during their undergraduate degree.  

Join our Equity Ambassadors as we provide prospective students with information related to accessing scholarships and bursaries. During this webinar, our Equity Ambassadors will review the definition of a scholarship and bursary, how to access them, applying for external scholarships, as well as an overview of post-secondary awards offered by Queen's University. Throughout the presentation, the Queen's Equity Ambassadors will engage with students by sharing their personal experiences.

This workshop will walk the audience through a typical day of a post-secondary student from the Equity Ambassador lens. Topics covered will include lectures, time management, extra-curricular activities, study habits, campus life, etc.
