Lake Ontario is one of Kingston's greatest natural resources and attractions. We recommend a visit to Breakwater Park, right in front of the University, or a longer walk (jog?) up to Lake Ontario Park.
Some of the local museums will still be closed for the season at the time of the conference.
The following will be open:
Canadian Museum of Health Care: housed in the historic Ann Baillie Building.
Kingston Penitentiary: Canada’s oldest maximum-security prison.
Miller Museum of Geology: located on campus.
PumpHouse: one of Canada’s earliest waterworks, which houses original steam machinery, permanent and temporary exhibits.
